Fall Symposium: Sept 1, 2022
Homelessness in Spokane has reached historic levels. The issue is as multifaceted as it is seemingly impossible to solve. What are the roles of mental health, addiction, incarceration, job loss, housing costs, mentorship, public policies, government spending and other challenges in this complex puzzle? How do we ensure a safe and healthy city for all citizens? What role should government, service providers, private business and citizens play? How do we create shared understanding and collaborative efforts? What can we accomplish to address this ever-growing need?
Please join us on September 1st for an educational discussion on homelessness and its effects on our region. Engage with renowned experts on this complicated topic to understand solutions, challenges, and data-driven decisions.
Featuring:
- Dr. Robert Marbut, Marbut Consulting and former head of USICH
